Let us tell you that Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai on Monday night. He was brought to the hospital due to stomach pain, and his health is being checked. In this case, the hospital officials said that Rajinikanth's condition is stable, but the team of interventional cardiologist Dr. Sai Satish is examining him. According to hospital sources, Rajinikanth is also scheduled to undergo a heart operation today i.e. on October 1. Not only this, Rajinikanth's wife Lata gave information about the superstar's health. She said, "Everything is fine". After this news, Rajinikanth's fans have breathed a sigh of relief. 

Rajinikanth was admitted to the hospital a few years ago too 

Let us tell you that in the year 2020, Rajinikanth was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad with 'hypertension and exhaustion'. After which, in late 2020, due to similar health problems, Rajinikanth had to abandon his long-awaited plan to start his political career. He announced the political party in December 2020, but canceled the plan the same month citing health reasons and the pandemic.

Rajinikanth has undergone kidney transplant

Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad had then said in a statement that “considering his post-transplant condition, unstable hypertension and age” he will have to take complete bed rest for a week with regular monitoring of his blood pressure and “he has also been advised to avoid any activity that may increase the risk of contracting COVID-19.” Rajinikanth had also undergone a COVID-19 test on December 22 that year and though it was negative, he had isolated himself. The actor had undergone a kidney transplant in 2016.

Rajinikanth is busy shooting for the film Coolie

Rajinikanth is currently busy shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj's film Coolie. Earlier on Monday, he met veteran filmmakers SP Muthuraman and AVM Saravanan and the pictures of this meeting went viral on social media. Meanwhile, Vettaiyaan, Rajinikanth's first collaboration with Jai Bhim director TJ Gnanavel, is set to hit the screens on October 10. Backed by Lyca Productions, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by SR Kathir.
